Luiza Rosa is a São Paulo-born designer whose work merges structure and fluidity, tradition and innovation. Growing up, she was influenced by her mother’s modernist architecture—rooted in clean lines and precision—while Brazil’s organic landscapes and Niemeyer’s curves instilled in her a deep appreciation for movement and emotion. This duality of discipline and creativity defines her design philosophy.
She earned a BFA in Fashion Design with Honors from Parsons School of Design, where she honed her expertise in collection design. During her studies, she participated in the esteemed Tory Burch Design Program, gaining invaluable mentorship from the Tory Burch team, which opened doors to roles at the company. Her passion for storytelling through fashion led her to Polimoda in Florence, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Creative Direction under the mentorship of Felipe Oliveira Baptista. At Polimoda, she worked on the rebranding of Capucci, earning recognition on the brand’s official Instagram.
Luiza’s work has been featured in Vogue Runway, Hypebeast, Fashionista, and Yahoo Life. Through storytelling and meticulous craftsmanship, she creates narrative-driven designs that go beyond trends, celebrating culture, identity, and individuality.
“Curves are the essence of my work because they are the essence of Brazil, pure and simple.”
— Oscar Niemeyer
